EU to Provide €400 Million for Infrastructure and Energy Efficiency Projects Under Ukraine Municipal Infrastructure Program

Ukrainian local authorities can benefit from European Union assistance for implementing infrastructure and energy efficiency projects as part of the Ukraine Municipal Infrastructure Programme (UMIP).
With total funding of €400 million, the UMIP provides financing for municipal infrastructure projects in five sectors: district heating, energy efficiency in public buildings, municipal lighting, water supply and wastewater, and solid waste management.
The Ukraine Municipal Infrastructure Programme is a multi-sector investment programme funded by the European Union and developed by the European Investment Bank together with the Government of Ukraine.
