Energy holding DTEK announced a pilot project for the development of a network of charging stations for electric cars.
About this correspondent LIGA.net said deputy director of the DTEK strategy Alexander Onischenko at the exhibition Plug in Ukraine 2018.
We test ourselves as a service provider for «electric power», — he said.
According to Onishchenko, in the first stage, this year, it is planned to install 10 fast charger in Kiev.
If the dynamics of growth of sales of electric vehicles will be kept, we will try to develop the network at the same rate, — he said.
Onischenko said that the second stage of the pilot project for the development of the network — to connect cities millionaires: Kiev, Lviv, Odessa, Dnipro.
We also think of creating a slow-charging product. We want to have some typical product for mass consumption. We are looking for a partner who could make us such a product. Perhaps in a couple of years we will integrate the service charge of electric vehicles into our package of services. Hopefully, at that time, we will have a market liberalized and electricity will be competitive, «he said.
Onischenko believes that charging stations will be one of the elements for customer retention.
We will be able to integrate other preferred charging station owners into our e-platform. The same owners of restaurants, hotels, etc. Then search partners to integrate our system into European. That the person who paid for this service here, could safely go to Europe and charge for a single map, — he said.
