By 2020, As Many As Eight New Wind Power Projects with a Total Capacity of Almost 400-MW Could Be Implemented in the Lviv Region

A meeting was held with representatives of enterprises, investors of construction of wind energy objects in the Lviv regional state administration.

At the meeting, the proposals on the prospects for the development of wind energy in the territory of the Lviv region and the issues of the development of wind energy in the region were considered.
It should be noted that as of today, there are 3 operating wind power plants in the region, with a total capacity of 33,9 MW.
In 2018, another 2 WPP is expected, with a total capacity of 35,5 MW.
In the long term, up to 2020, 8 is expected to implement 388,2 potential wind energy projects with a total capacity of XNUMX MW.
Participation in the meeting was taken by the first deputy chairman of the Lviv Regional State Administration Rostislav Zamlynsky, Director of the Fuel and Energy Complex and Energy Conservation Department of Lviv Oblast State Administration Mykhailo Melnyk, and Head of the Investment Policy Department of the Lviv Regional State Administration Roman M. Matis.
